THE BUSINESS OF GOSPEL: Key Takeaways

1. Longevity Matters

Shirley Caesar’s 70-year career demonstrates that sustained success over decades builds the most substantial wealth. Her $16 million net worth reflects seven decades of consistent output, touring, and business management.

2. Diversification is Key

The most financially successful gospel artists have diversified revenue streams:

  • Kirk Franklin: Music + Touring + TV + Mainstream Collaborations
  • Tamela Mann: Music + Acting + Food Business + Fashion + Real Estate
  • Shirley Caesar: Music + Pastoral Income + Speaking + Books

3. Certification Equals Cash

RIAA certifications (Gold, Platinum) directly correlate with income:

  • Platinum albums = 1 million copies sold = $10-15 million in revenue (before expenses)
  • Gold albums = 500,000 copies sold = $5-7 million in revenue (before expenses)

4. Real Estate Builds Wealth

Documented real estate holdings:

  • Yolanda Adams: $2.875 million Houston mansion

David and Tamela Mann represent the ultimate power couple in faith-based entertainment. This is their story.

An iPraiseRadio.com Exclusive Exposé

How a Fort Worth Couple Built a Multi-Million Dollar Entertainment Dynasty on Faith, Family, and Relentless Determination

In the landscape of gospel entertainment, few couples have transformed modest beginnings into a sprawling media empire quite like David and Tamela Mann. From humble church choir members in Fort Worth, Texas, to Grammy-winning recording artists, beloved television stars, successful entrepreneurs, and business moguls, the Manns have built a brand that spans music, television, film, food, fashion, and digital media—all while keeping God at the center and their family business thriving.

With a combined net worth estimated at $6 million, a 386-acre ranch, an $870,000 home, multiple television shows, chart-topping albums, a seasoning line, and a production company that employs thousands, David and Tamela Mann represent the ultimate power couple in faith-based entertainment. This is their story.

THE HUMBLE BEGINNINGS: From Stop Six to Stardom

Tamela’s Journey:
Born Tamela Jean Johnson on June 9, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas, Tamela grew up as the youngest of 14 children in a deeply spiritual household grounded in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). Raised in Fort Worth’s Stop Six neighborhood by her mother, affectionately known as “Mother Eppe,” Tamela’s family lived modestly but rich in faith.

“We weren’t allowed to listen to R&B or the Blues,” Tamela has shared. “So we listened to a lot of gospel music in the house.”

By age eight, Tamela was singing in the church choir alongside her siblings. By twelve, she had graduated to the adult choir and was frequently selected for solos—despite her bashfulness. Music became her comfort, her calling, and eventually, her career.

David’s Path:
David Anthony Mann Sr., born August 7, 1966, in Fort Worth, was raised in a strict Pentecostal household. While Tamela was discovering her voice in church, David was developing his natural gift for making people laugh and his love for music. Little did either know that their paths would soon cross and change both their lives forever.

THE KIRK FRANKLIN CONNECTION: Where It All Started

In their late teens, David and Tamela met through a mutual friend who invited Tamela to attend a high school choir practice. There, she encountered David Mann, Kirk Franklin, and Darrell Blair, who had formed their own singing group called Humble Hearts.

One evening, David and Darrell came to hear Tamela sing. Immediately recognizing her extraordinary vocal talent, they invited her to join the group. As Tamela recalls, “That friendship turned into something more.”

The couple married in 1988, and their partnership—both personal and professional—was just beginning.

Kirk Franklin & The Family: The Launching Pad

In the early 1990s, their friend Kirk Franklin formed the groundbreaking gospel ensemble Kirk Franklin & The Family, and both David and Tamela were recruited as members. This was the opportunity that would change everything.

Tamela became a primary vocalist on several tracks, including the powerful “Now Behold the Lamb” and “Lean on Me,” which featured Mary J. Blige, Crystal Lewis, R. Kelly, and Bono. David provided soul-stirring vocals on tracks like “He’s Able”.

Their contributions were instrumental in bringing gospel music to mainstream audiences, blending traditional sounds with contemporary influences. The group’s 1993 debut album became a massive success, and the Manns were part of reshaping the sound of 90s gospel music.

“It was nothing short of amazing,” Tamela has said about her time with Kirk Franklin & The Family.

Both sang on five of Kirk Franklin’s albums before embarking on their individual journeys. But even as they prepared to step into solo careers, David could already see what Tamela couldn’t.

“I would tell her, ‘You’re a world class singer! You can be out front,'” David recalled. “I could see that there was more in her than just being a background singer.”

THE TYLER PERRY PHENOMENON: Birth of Mr. Brown

While touring with Kirk Franklin & The Family, a promoter introduced David and Tamela to an up-and-coming playwright named Tyler Perry. Perry was creating groundbreaking stage plays that would eventually revolutionize Black entertainment, and he saw something special in the couple.

Perry cast them in several of his stage productions, and it was here that the world was introduced to two characters that would become iconic: Leroy “Mr. Brown” (played by David) and Cora Simmons (played by Tamela)—characters who, ironically, played father and daughter despite being husband and wife in real life.

David’s portrayal of the lovable, hilarious, scene-stealing Mr. Brown became a phenomenon. The character appeared in numerous Tyler Perry productions, including:

Stage Plays:

  • I Can Do Bad All By Myself
  • Madea’s Family Reunion
  • Madea’s Class Reunion
  • Meet the Browns
  • What’s Done in the Dark
  • Diary of a Mad Black Woman

Films:

  • Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns (2008)
  • Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail (2009)
  • Madea’s Big Happy Family (2011)
  • A Madea Homecoming (2022, Netflix)
  • Madea’s Destination Wedding

Television Series:

  • Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (2007-2008) – David appeared as Leroy Brown in recurring role
  • Meet the Browns (2009-2011) – 140 episodes as series regular, earning David an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series in 2011
  • Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living (2020-present) – David reprises Leroy Brown

Tamela’s portrayal of Cora Simmons—Mr. Brown’s daughter—was equally beloved, bringing warmth, humor, and heart to every project.

“Tamela says she never expected the success they’ve had with acting,” interviews reveal. “Her acting gift was ‘stirred’ when she worked with Tyler Perry.”

The couple’s work with Tyler Perry didn’t just make them household names—it helped employ thousands of minority men and women in entertainment production and paved the way for culturally relevant content.

BUILDING THE MANN BRAND: Television Takeover

Beyond Tyler Perry’s universe, the Manns created their own television legacy:

Mann & Wife (2015-2017, Bounce TV)

The couple starred in this sitcom as newlyweds in a blended family, with David playing an undercover detective and Tamela as a teacher. The show was co-executive produced with TV hitmaker Roger Bobb and ran for 30 episodes across three seasons.

“We get to play an actual couple,” David explained. “I move her and her two girls to Atlanta with me and my two boys but fail to tell her that my mother lives with us. So you can expect the unexpected. There are lots of laughs and there is never ever a dull moment.”

Reality Television Empire:

It’s a Mann’s World (2015-2016, BET)
This reality series chronicled “gospel’s first couple,” their five children, and four grandchildren as they navigated family life and fame on their Dallas ranch. The show ran for 20 episodes across two seasons.

The Manns (2017, TV One)
A one-hour docu-series that revealed “the often hilarious and sometimes controversial interactions between David and Tamela, their four grown children, eight grandchildren and a slew of friends, extended family and other characters that enrich the lives of the entertainment power couple,” according to TV One’s announcement. The show ran for 10 episodes.

“With recording careers, touring, filming and managing an outrageous family, The Manns often find themselves negotiating from the conference table to the kitchen table,” TV One explained.

Mann Family Dinner (2020-present, Digital Series)
Part reality show, part “mukbang,” this digital series features David, Tamela, and their children around the dinner table discussing life, love, relationships, marriage, blended families, and hot topics—all with their trademark humor and honesty. Nothing is off limits.

The family that works together, stays together. As TV One described them: “The Manns are a great modern day example of a family that works together, plays together and prays together.”

THE MANN MARRIAGE: 37 Years and Counting

At the heart of this empire is a marriage that has lasted 37 years (as of 2026). David and Tamela renewed their 25th wedding vows in spring 2013.

“Our entertainment career has been 31 years now. That’s like, wow!” David reflects. “It’s really been a blessing, and it all started out with David. He’s the mastermind of all of this,” Tamela adds.

Their relationship is built on mutual support, faith, and vision. “I make sure that I’m always trying to bring the greater out of her,” David has said.

They have become a beacon of hope and inspiration, showcasing the beauty of marriage with Christ at the center of their everyday life. With their infectious personalities and genuine affection for one another, David and Tamela Mann continue to uplift and inspire audiences worldwide, proving that love, laughter, and family are truly the greatest treasures.

THE POWER OF FAITH: Foundation of the Empire

Throughout every business venture, television show, album, and entrepreneurial endeavor, the Manns have kept God at the center.

“I would hope so!” Tamela exclaimed when asked if she pictures God smiling when she’s at work. “With [God] on our side, what can go wrong? How can we fail when He is with us? I’m just really excited about doing for the Kingdom. That’s what it’s all about. It’s to help win as many souls as we can for God’s Kingdom.”

David’s perspective is equally grounded: “We could have never imagined touring the world at somebody else’s expense—and to be out on tour with our kids, doing movies, having our own television show. To be able to do this, doing what we love and to see God’s grace on us, we could have never imagined it this way. For Tamela and me, we say it’s nothing but the grace of God.”

THE LEGACY: Impact and Inspiration

The Mann empire represents more than financial success—it’s a testament to:

Family Values: Five children, eight grandchildren, and a marriage that thrives

Faith-Based Excellence: Grammy-winning music, Emmy-nominated television, critically acclaimed performances

Economic Empowerment: Employing thousands through Tyler Perry productions and their own ventures

Representation: Creating culturally relevant content that reflects Black excellence and faith

Mentorship: Developing new talent through Tillymann Entertainment

Entrepreneurship: From music to food to fashion, showing multiple revenue streams

Authenticity: Staying true to themselves while building a global brand

WHAT’S NEXT: The Future of the Mann Brand

As 2026 unfolds, the Manns show no signs of slowing down:

  • Continued episodes of Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living on BET
  • Live Breathe Fight album nominated for 2026 Grammy
  • Expanding Mama Mann’s Kitchen seasoning line
  • New content on MannTV YouTube channel
  • Continued development of talent through Tillymann Entertainment

“Our message is family,” the couple emphasizes. And that message continues to resonate with millions worldwide.

CONCLUSION: An Empire Built on Love, Laughter, and Faith

From singing in church choirs as children in Fort Worth to building a multi-million-dollar media empire, David and Tamela Mann have proven that with God, family, talent, and relentless work ethic, anything is possible.

They didn’t just become successful—they built an empire. They didn’t just make money—they created generational wealth. They didn’t just achieve fame—they built a legacy.

As David puts it: “I’ll be up [at night], and just have brainstorms about different stuff.”That visionary thinking, combined with Tamela’s extraordinary talent and their unshakeable faith, has created something truly remarkable.

The Mann empire stands as proof that you can be successful without compromising your values, that family businesses can thrive, that gospel music can dominate charts, that faith-based entertainment can be wildly popular, and that a marriage rooted in God can withstand the pressures of fame and fortune.

From Humble Hearts to media moguls, from Kirk Franklin’s backup singers to billion-stream artists, from Tyler Perry’s players to television producers, from gospel singers to food entrepreneurs—David and Tamela Mann have done it all.

And they’re just getting started.

Eboni Funderburk’s Journey to Gospel Music Royalty

Published

on

From Seoul to the Pinnacle of Gospel Music Promotion

By Staff Writer
iPraiseRadio.com

In an industry where success is measured not just in chart positions but in souls touched and ministries elevated, Eboni Funderburk stands as one of gospel music’s most influential architects. With over 27 years of shaping the sound and reach of gospel music, Funderburk has earned her place among the genre’s elite—not as a performer on stage, but as the strategic force behind some of gospel’s biggest moments.

Her story is one of faith, determination, and an unwavering commitment to seeing gospel music reach the masses. From her unexpected beginnings in Seoul, Korea, to becoming a 2025 Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Funderburk’s journey embodies the very message of the music she promotes: transformation, perseverance, and divine purpose.

Humble Beginnings: A Foundation Built on Faith

Born in Seoul, Korea in 1974, Eboni “efg” Funderburk Grimes (also known as “The Glamazon Mom”) spent her formative years in Raleigh, North Carolina, where her love for gospel music first took root. It was within the walls of Watts Chapel Baptist Church in Raleigh that a young Eboni discovered the power of gospel music, singing in the Sunbeams Choir and the FB Weavers youth choir.

“One of my fondest memories as a kid was singing in the Sunbeams Choir and the FB Weavers youth choir at Watts Chapel Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC,” Funderburk recalls. “This was my first introduction to Gospel music, and this early exposure nurtured my spiritual growth and connection in my faith.”

As a teenager, her spiritual journey deepened at Shiloh Baptist Church in Old Town Alexandria, where a pivotal moment would cement her path. “I distinctly remember the first time my choir director taught us Richard Smallwood’s soul stirring anthem ‘Total Praise,'” she shares. “It was a WOW moment.”

From Raleigh, Funderburk’s family relocated to the Washington, DC area, where she says she blossomed from “country bumpkin” to “city girl.” These diverse experiences across cultures and communities would later inform her ability to connect gospel music with audiences across all backgrounds.

Education and Early Dreams

Funderburk’s academic journey led her to Hampton University, a historically Black university where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts in 1997. It was during her junior year at Hampton that she experienced what she describes as a defining moment in her professional aspirations.

“It was my introduction to Donald Lawrence’s BIBLE STORIES album on the campus of Hampton University my junior year that cemented Gospel Music as my professional aspiration,” Funderburk explains. “Years later, I would have the opportunity and honor to work with both Donald and Richard, a highlight of my career.”

This early exposure to gospel’s transformative power would shape her understanding of the genre’s potential impact. “Inside the four walls, I had a front row seat to the power and impact the Spirit can have on the lives of those it touches through song,” she reflects. “This inspired me to want to do more to see Gospel lifted in music, and that desire helped redefine and shape my perspective, and ultimately my role in the industry as a conduit to help achieve this vision.”

From Singer to Strategist: A Career Pivot

Like many who enter the music industry, Funderburk initially harbored dreams of stardom. In the late 1990s, she arrived in Nashville with aspirations of breaking into the music industry as a gospel singer. However, destiny had different plans.

“I came to Nashville in the late ’90s with dreams of breaking into the music industry as a Gospel singer,” she admits. “Back then, it felt like everyone was trying to make it as an artist.”

But rather than viewing this as a setback, Funderburk’s pivoting moment became her breakthrough. After graduating from Hampton University, she stepped into the role of Managing Editor at Gospel Industry Today Magazine and Assistant Editor of Gospel Today Magazine in 1998—positions that would mark the start of an illustrious 27-year career in gospel music.

Rising Through the Ranks: The Major Label Years

Verity Records: The Beginning of Something Special (1998-2003)

In 1998, Funderburk joined the ranks of Verity Records, which at that time was the world’s number one gospel label. As part of an elite team, she played a pivotal role in helping to elevate the profiles of gospel legends who would define a generation.

Working alongside icons such as Fred Hammond, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, and John P. Kee, Funderburk honed her skills in artist development and radio promotion. These were the years when she learned the intricacies of breaking a gospel record, understanding radio formats, and building relationships with programmers and DJs across the country.

“As part of an elite team, she played a pivotal role in helping to elevate the profiles of Gospel legends such as Fred Hammond, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, John P. Kee and a host of other luminaries, setting the stage for a new era in Gospel music,” according to industry reports.

EMI Gospel: Leading the Promotion Department (2003-2007)

Funderburk’s success at Verity caught the attention of EMI Gospel (now Motown Gospel), where she was recruited to helm the Radio Promotions Department. Her keen ear for hit songs and promotional savvy helped further spotlight gospel music, with groundbreaking hits captivating listeners nationwide.

During her tenure at EMI Gospel, Funderburk demonstrated an ability to navigate the evolving landscape of gospel radio, understanding both the spiritual mission of the music and the business acumen required to achieve crossover success.

Back to Verity: The “Never Would Have Made It” Phenomenon (2007-2008)

In 2007, Funderburk rejoined Zomba Gospel/Verity Records (now RCA Inspiration) as Senior Director of National Promotions. This move would position her at the center of one of gospel music’s most historic moments.

Working in a team of four people, Funderburk was instrumental in helping propel Bishop Marvin L. Sapp’s “Never Would Have Made It” to unprecedented heights. The song became a cultural phenomenon, crossing over to mainstream radio and becoming an anthem of faith for millions.

“Never Would Have Made It” remains one of gospel music’s most successful singles, demonstrating Funderburk’s ability to identify and execute campaigns that resonate beyond traditional gospel audiences.

The Entrepreneurial Leap: EFG Promotions & Consulting

Taking the Leap (2008)

In 2008, at a time when the music industry was experiencing seismic shifts with the rise of digital music and changing consumption patterns, Funderburk made a bold entrepreneurial move. She launched EFG Promotions & Consulting, a full-service radio marketing and artist branding company.

The decision to go independent was both risky and strategic. With over a decade of major label experience, deep industry relationships, and a proven track record, Funderburk possessed the expertise and credibility to build her own enterprise.

“In 2008, I launched EFG Promotions & Consulting, a radio marketing and artist branding company working with label and indie artists alike,” she explains. “To date, I have had the opportunity to work with several of Gospel’s top artists to see their work and ministry reach millions.”

Building a Powerhouse Roster

EFG Promotions & Consulting quickly attracted a roster of clients that reads like a “Who’s Who” of gospel music. The company has represented and continues to work with some of the genre’s most celebrated artists, including:

  • CeCe Winans – The multiple Grammy-winning icon
  • Smokie Norful – The soulful singer and pastor
  • Erica Campbell – Six-time Grammy winner and half of the legendary Mary Mary duo
  • Jekalyn Carr – The millennial gospel powerhouse and Grammy nominee

Funderburk’s approach combines traditional radio promotion with modern digital marketing strategies, artist branding, and strategic campaign development. Her company provides full-service promotion services for both major label artists and independent ministries seeking to expand their reach.

A Legacy of Success: By the Numbers

Eboni Funderburk’s career achievements speak volumes about her impact on gospel music:

  • 39 No. 1 Singles on Gospel Radio charts
  • 18 Grammy-Nominated Songs that she helped promote
  • Over 100 Top 30 Charting Singles
  • 27+ Years in the gospel music industry
  • #3 Ranking among Top Radio Promoters of 2025 by the National Association of Gospel Radio, (based on MediaBase Charts)

These numbers represent more than commercial success—they represent countless lives touched by the ministry of music that Funderburk helped bring to the airwaves.

To now be recognized for work and service that has always been my passion and calling is an incredible blessing.”

The induction ceremony took place on September 5, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, alongside other gospel music legends including Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, The Clark Sisters, Erica Campbell, and Dr. Ricky Dillard.

She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and has built a life that balances the demands of running a successful business with the joys and challenges of motherhood. In 2015, she founded Glamazon Moms, an online community for mothers striving to excel in career, family, and faith.

Triumph Through Tragedy

In October 2022, Funderburk faced one of life’s most devastating moments when she lost her grandfather, whom she described as “THE Love of My Life.” At 5:40 a.m. on October 16, 2022, she shared her heartbreak with her social media community, demonstrating the vulnerability and authenticity that has endeared her to many.

“At 5:40a this morning, I received the call that THE Love of My Life has left this earth,” she wrote. “To say that this is the single MOST painful and devastating moment of my life, is an understatement.”

Despite this profound loss, Funderburk has continued to lead with strength and purpose, channeling her grief into her work and her advocacy for other women navigating similar challenges.

Funderburk extends her influence through various media platforms:

  • The Glamazon Mom Podcast – Where she explores motherhood, faith, and career
  • Radio Host and Moderator – Lending her voice and expertise to industry discussions

The Philosophy Behind the Success

What sets Funderburk apart in an industry filled with talented promoters is her philosophy of service and ministry. She views her work not merely as promoting music, but as facilitating ministry and touching lives.

This perspective—seeing herself as a “conduit” rather than simply a promoter—has guided her career decisions and relationship-building approach. It’s why artists trust her not just with their careers, but with their ministries.

The Broader Impact: Preserving and Elevating Gospel Music

Funderburk’s work extends beyond individual artist promotion to a larger mission of preserving and elevating gospel music as an art form and ministry tool.

Traditional Gospel Advocacy

She has been vocal about the importance of traditional gospel music, noting: “ALL of it is viable and necessary for progression, especially our foundations rooted in traditional Gospel music.”

Building Bridges

Funderburk’s background—born in Korea, raised in the South, educated at an HBCU, and thriving in Nashville’s music scene—positions her uniquely to build bridges across cultural and geographical divides. She understands diverse audiences and knows how to connect gospel’s universal message with specific communities.

Economic Impact

The Eboni Funderburk Effect

In an era where gospel music faces both unprecedented opportunities and challenges—from streaming disruption to generational shifts in how people engage with faith—Eboni Funderburk stands as a guiding force. Her ability to honor gospel’s rich traditions while embracing innovation positions her as a critical voice for the genre’s future.

Radio programmers trust her because she brings them quality music and understands their audience. Industry peers respect her because she’s earned her place through excellence and integrity.

A Living Legacy

As Funderburk prepares for her Gospel Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony and continues building her legacy, she remains focused on the mission that has driven her for 27 years: helping gospel music reach the masses and touch lives.

Her story—from the Sunbeams Choir in Raleigh to the pinnacle of gospel music promotion—is a testament to what’s possible when talent meets opportunity, when faith meets action, and when individual success is leveraged for collective good.

The young girl who once sang “Total Praise” in a church choir and marveled at Donald Lawrence’s “Bible Stories” has become one of the most powerful figures in gospel music. She’s helped create the soundtrack for a generation’s faith journey, promoted the ministries of gospel’s greatest artists, and paved the way for future leaders.

But perhaps most importantly, Eboni Funderburk has remained true to the vision she formed decades ago: to be a conduit through which the power and impact of gospel music can touch lives around the world.

As she looks toward 2026 and beyond, one thing is certain: wherever gospel music is headed, Eboni Funderburk will be there—strategizing, promoting, elevating, and ensuring that the genre she loves continues to fulfill its higher purpose of inspiring, encouraging, and transforming lives through the power of song.

The gospel and Christian music industry is celebrating significant achievements as two major announcements reshape the landscape of faith-based entertainment.

Walter Thomas Promoted to Executive Vice President

Capitol Music Group has announced the promotion of Walter Thomas to Executive Vice President of Motown Gospel and TAMLA Records, marking a pivotal milestone for one of the most impactful divisions in faith-based music. The promotion comes during a period of unprecedented momentum for both legendary labels.

In his expanded role, Thomas will oversee the creative, marketing, and strategic direction for Motown Gospel and TAMLA, strengthening partnerships and championing world-class talent across Gospel, Christian, R&B, and positive music.

“Walter Thomas is one of the most forward-thinking executives in music today,” said Tom March, CEO of Capitol Music Group. “His leadership has driven incredible growth, creative excellence, and cultural impact across Motown Gospel and TAMLA. This promotion reflects not only what he’s accomplished, but the extraordinary future ahead under his vision.”

Brad O’Donnell, President of Capitol Christian Music Group, added, “Walter is an exceptional leader with a strong work ethic and clear vision. Working alongside him over the past few years, I’ve seen firsthand his passion for artist development and the role faith plays in his leadership. I’m honored to help lead our next era — one built on innovation, cultural relevance, and music that inspires the world.”

Record Year for Motown Gospel and TAMLA

Thomas’s promotion comes on the heels of remarkable achievements for both labels in 2025. Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s latest album “Tasha,” which includes the No. 1 single “Church” featuring John Legend, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. The project earned a Grammy nomination for best gospel album.

Other artists across the labels’ rosters who earned Grammy nominations for the 2026 ceremony include Tye Tribbett (best gospel album), Pastor Mike Jr., and Jonathan McReynolds. The latter two are nominated for best gospel performance/song alongside Leonard.

TAMLA Records, originally founded by Berry Gordy in 1959 as the precursor to Motown Records, was relaunched by Thomas in 2024 as “the new home of positive music.” The roster includes a partnership with Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Rodney Jerkins’ EVOLVE Music Group and Dove Award-nominated artist Lee Vasi, who is also a 2026 NAACP Image Award nominee for outstanding new artist.

Provident artists dominated the rankings, with Brandon Lake earning recognition as Hot Christian Songs Artist, Christian AC Airplay Artist, Christian Airplay Artist, Christian Digital Song Sales Artist, and Christian Streaming Songs Artist.

His hit single “Hard Fought Hallelujah” claimed the #1 Hot Christian Song position, while also topping the Christian Digital Song Sales and Christian Streaming Song charts. The song even crossed over to claim the Rock Digital Song Sales chart.

Elevation Worship, another Provident powerhouse, was named Top Christian Duo/Group and Top Christian Artist. Their album “CAN YOU IMAGINE?” earned Top Christian Album honors, while their collaboration “Praise” (featuring Brandon Lake, Chris Brown & Chandler Moore) dominated as the #1 Christian Streaming Song, #1 Christian Airplay Song, and #1 Christian AC Airplay Song.

Rising star Seph Schlueter’s “Running Back To You” claimed the Christian AC Airplay Title, demonstrating the label’s ability to develop emerging talent alongside established artists.
